Power Quality Mitigation Solutions

Core Functions

Active Power Filter (APF): (typically 2nd–50th order, targeting 3rd/5th/7th/11th/13th, etc.), can mitigate neutral current; advantages include dynamic tracking, no resonance, and active harmonic filtering to ensure stable operation of system equipment. Static Var Generator (SVG): Can both supply inductive reactive power and absorb capacitive reactive power, with continuous and smooth adjustment, stabilizing the power factor at around 0.99. It also provides voltage support, suppresses flicker, and can simultaneously mitigate three-phase imbalance. Advantages include fast response and no resonance risk, making it a trend to replace conventional capacitor banks.

Application Scenarios

APF: Data centers (UPS + server harmonics, neutral overcurrent), hospital imaging equipment, commercial buildings (LED + elevators + inverter air conditioners), factories with dense VFDs/rectifiers, charging stations — wherever harmonic levels exceed limits, equipment interferes with each other, or neutral lines overheat. SVG: Impact loads such as electric arc furnaces/steel rolling/welding, wind/PV grid connection points, rail transit traction substations, large motor groups at mine pumping stations, areas with low voltage at distribution network ends — wherever power factor penalties, voltage fluctuation and flicker occur, or dynamic reactive power support is needed.
